Your Life in 60 Seconds

How do you tell your life in a single minute? Together with Paul Brody, young people develop short video pieces about origin, identity and prejudice – in the format they use every day anyway.

Brody, who has created sound installations for the Jüdisches Museum Berlin, is not a lecturer but a first-hand witness: his mother fled Vienna in 1939 on one of the last Kindertransports. In the afternoon he works with a class of the Freie Schule Zinnowitz. What stands at the end is not a finished film, but a class that has grasped how much a story depends on who tells it.
