Amit Friedman Quartet: Unleash the light

The Amit Friedman Quartet unleashes the light of the Middle East and beyond in this jazz extra of the International Days of Jewish Music. Amit Friedman, one of the leading musicians of Israeli jazz and winner of the “Prime Minister’s Award for Jazz Composition”, brings elements of world music together in his catchy compositions. At his side plays Igor Spallati, a master of the double bass whose versatile playing ranges from Balkan to Brazilian rhythms. Hila Kulik at the piano uncovers the beauty of Jewish melodies, while Amir Bresler shapes a rousing, pulsing foundation with high-energy rhythms. Together they create a musical symbiosis that celebrates cultural heritage and immerses the audience in the uniting power of music.
