“Arche Musica”

In the “Arche Musica” workshop, pupils take an active part in an artistic rescue operation: compositions from the years 1890–1945, written in the era of Jewish emancipation and overshadowed by the Holocaust, sound again. Cantor Yoed Sorek and violinist Samuel Seifert lead the way through the treasures of the “ark” – from forgotten melodies to handwritten scores. History becomes sound, memory comes alive. A workshop in which notes tell their stories and voices carry the past into the future.
